BOXING INSTRUCTORS: Doug Harvy Brad Hopper Traditional boxing techniques are taught such as the proper execution of the basic Jab, hook. cross and uppercut. Defenses of those basic techniques including proper blocking and slipping techniques. Footwork including shadow boxing angling maintaining distance, conditioning and balance are taught for functional self-defense or just plain old style physical conditioning and weight loss. Boxing training has become more mainstream and acceptable to the general public than it was 20 some add years ago. Executive boxing programs created a new image of higher class educated fitness minded individuals looking for something challenging some new way to get fit while having fun.
